The wildlife sanctuary, which had an area of 285 square kilometres was established in 1973. It is in the Sungam range of hills between the Anaimalai Hills and Nelliampathy Hills.

Malampuzha Dam is the largest dam and reservoirs in Kerala. The dam is 355 feet high and crosses the Malampuzha River, a tributary of Bharathappuzha. Around the reservoir of the dam are gardens and amusement parks. Boating facilities are available on the lake.

Nelliyampathy is a fascinating hill station at a height of 467 to 1,572 m above sea level. This hilly village is the delight of trekkers.

This impressive collection of artwork is conceived by renowned sculptor Padmasree Neck Chand Saini. The artifacts displayed here are made of waste materials such as used plastic bottles, waste pieces of Tiles, Stones, Electricity Fuse Carriers, Power Insulators.

The national park is one of the last undisturbed tracts of South Western Ghats mountain rain forests and tropical moist evergreen forest in India. It is located in the Nilgiri hills and has some rare species of flora and fauna.

The Jain temple made of beautiful granite stones and featuring images of the Jain Tirthankaras and Yakshinis. It is one of the few temples in India where remains of Jain religion can still be found.
